With the arrival of my farm box today from the CSA, I truly felt fall was here.  I made use of several items in the box to make my dinner, which took me about an hour and a half to cook and about 15 minutes to eat.  But it was worth the wait.

I made candied butternut squash, which I then topped with mustard greens cooked with apple cider and sauteed shallots and garlic.  To cap off the whole thing I fried up 2 very fresh eggs from a local farm.  I love their eggs with the orange yolks.  Yummmm....

Maybe tomorrow I'll get some chicken or a ham steak and have that with my leftovers...
